US Ban On Internet Gambling

Online gambling has always been seen as illegal in the United States. However, that did not stop it from growing considerably in the U.S. as well as globally. Nearly $12 billion in activity take place on a yearly basis.

Gambling banned In 2006, a law was passed to crackdown on internet gambling. I feel as though the law is unfair. This is supposed to be a free country where we have free will. I do not see any harm in someone spending their money the way they want. Granted, gambling my be an addiction but these are adults who are making these decisions.

Several forms of online gambling were banned. Sports betting, Internet poker and online games involving gambling were all banned. However, horse betting was not banned? Why? If you are going to crackdown on just a few games then it is pointless. Why not crackdown on everything? But in UK it is still allowed. ;)
