The Pros and Cons of Gambling
Gambling is used as an outlet by many gamblers. They use gambling to escape the pressures of day to day life. Many gamblers enjoy the excitement, the bright lights, the action and social interaction as well as the dream of becoming wealthy in one night. Basically, they are being sold a dream.
On the other hand, gambling is a serious problem for those who become addicted. What happens when gambling is no longer used as an outlet? It becomes a problem when it is done out of desperation. Many gamblers suffer from anxiety, guilt and even thoughts of suicide. In some cases, suicide is actually committed. If you are suffering from a gambling addiction, please recognize it before it is too late. Do not risk your life, family and friends for the thrill of casinos. It simply is not worth it.
