Fruit machines (called slot machines in US) are popular gambling machines that involve spinning the reels to make a winning combination. Many gambling websites e.g. Deal or No Deal now offer fruit machine games online, and these are growing in popularity, mainly because they have ‘tactical’ features that other online slot machines are missing. With online slot machines you start the reels spinning, and it’s down to pure luck whether you achieve a winning combination or not.
With online fruit machines however, there are several additional key features which enhance the game, one of which is the ‘hold’ option. This allows the player to hold one or two reels before spinning, in order to create better chances of getting winning combinations. Another popular feature is the ‘nudge’ option, which gives players the opportunity to move the reels down one a time to create winning lines or bonus. All these features create a very dynamic and interactive gaming experience.

Another key aspect of online fruit machines is that potentially you can access bigger prizes. Fruit machines all have a level up game, which comes after achieving various winning combination or bonuses. This additional game is where the real money lies, and it’s possible to get ‘super jackpots’, which are the normal house jackpots multiplied by tens, even hundreds in some cases. These additional games require some skill and knowledge of the machine’s individual patterns, and again it’s this added level to the game play which excites and encourages players.
There are a great choice and variety of online fruit machines, from themed games such as the ‘Spiderman’ and ‘Simpsons’ machines, to games you can play for as little as 5p a spin. Online fruit machines sites also offer bigger jackpots than you can usually find in free standing machines, and many membership accounts come with good incentives such as 100% cash match bonuses for account deposits and free fruit machines for those who want to try the game out before they play.

Video Poker made its first appearance in the year 1891 by the way of a gambling machine in Brooklyn, New York. This machine manufactured by Sittman and Pitt Company, had five drums, containing 10 cards each. The player would drop a coin into the machine and the drums would spin. Once the drums stopped spinning, the cards that the player had would be revealed. These machines were generally found in bars and the winners generally won drinks or cigars.

The next step of forward progress on the video poker scene was the development of the slot machine in 1898, when Charles Fey developed a machine called the Liberty Bell. This machine was able to pay cash prizes to its winners. Fey brought a new invention in 1901 called the Skill draw machine, which possessed a hold feature. This new machine had five drums and the player could spin all the drums and observe his results. If he was not satisfied with the result he could hold one or more drum. This hold feature has become an important part of the online poker game in today’s world.Video Poker became popular and easy to market the day one could combine a television screen with a central processing unit. The first video poker machines made their appearance at the same time as the computers in 1970. Video Poker became much stronger in 1979 when Draw Poker was launched by International Game Technology.
In the 80s Video Poker became more popular with players playing in casinos as they found the video machines less intimidating than the casino tables. The popularity of the game grew with the improvements of technologies and the introduction of better machines. In turn, resulting in newer and better video poker games being introduced.
In the 90s with the introduction of the internet the popularity of the game further grew as now players could play in cities where there was no casino. Also, high speed internet has allowed players from different countries to explore various online casino games by playing it at their leisure and comfort. The introduction of video poker software since the early 90′s has also added to the popularity of the game and today we find a number of companies that are offering such software at sites that allows players the liberty of trying new forms of video poker.

Online Bingo is a multinational business, with a vast array of interactive sites springing up aiming to cater to your every need.
Many sites highlight the social aspect of Bingo, providing chat rooms and member areas where people can get together in between games and exchange thoughts and ideas.
Popular sites like Sun bingo or Mecca bingo combine socializing with good prize money and rewards, and some even offer ‘bonuses’ to encourage players to join. These may take the form of free games for those who introduce a friend to the site, or incentives for players who add larger sums of money to their gaming accounts. Also some sites offer ‘loyalty ‘or ‘fidelity’ points, to encourage players to remain members with the same site.
Whichever site you join however, you will have to set up an member account, and most companies offer secure and fast payment services for transferring and collecting money, with guaranteed instant win deposits at the end of each successful game. Specialist Software ensures that downloads for games are fast and in ‘real time’ so you feel all the excitement as if you were playing in a Bingo hall, and reputable sites enlist independent auditors to ensure the games are run fairly and consistently.
Online Bingo sites have a good reputation for customer service, with many companies providing interactive gaming assistants to guide players through any problems they may encounter. Many sites also operate responsible ‘eGaming’ practices to help prevent people forming or supporting gaming habits online, and all Bingo sites without exception must pass strict assessments before being awarded an online gaming license.

There are two main ways to play scratch cards, either through the Internet at one of the online casino sites, or the more familiar lottery type cards you can buy at supermarkets and newsagents. In both of these types of games the principal is the same; you receive a basic card with a grid formation and then reveal what is hidden underneath. You win if three symbols or numbers match, and it is usual for these numbers to relate to what you have actually won.
In many online scratch card games you will often need to match numbers with a multiply symbol next to them. In this case you receive a multiply of the bet you originally placed, rather than a predetermined prize amount (i.e. if you bet £2 and revealed three matching numbers of 4x, then you would receive £2 multiplied by 4).
When playing any scratch card games, to make the game enjoyable you need to consider a few scratch card tips. Don’t reinvest any winnings straight into another scratch card. It is unlikely you will win again, and it will leave you feeling disillusioned. Only buy as many scratch cards as you can really afford. Set aside a definite amount in your weekly budget for playing scratch cards and stick to it no matter what.
If you play online scratch card games, then look around to find casinos that offer a good incentive and bonus service to make sure you are getting the best for your money. Make sure you check cards carefully, especially if you are playing online. Once you move onto the next game there are no second chances to go back and collect any winnings. Finally try and quit when you are ahead, and keep the game light hearted. Scratch cards should be a fun and easy gambling game, and if you keep to your budget you will enjoy the thrill of the play without being too disappointed if you lose.
