The recent World Poker Series ended in spectacular fashion in Las Vegas recently, with the youngest ever winner taking the World Poker Crown and landing an impressive $9.15 million for the first prize. Peter Eastgate from Denmark triumphed over the Russian player Ivan Demidov after a grueling 5 hour head-to-head match, busting apart the Russian’s game in the final hand.
Ivan Demidov received a modest $5.8 million for finishing in second place, and has certainly made his mark on the Poker circuit by becoming the only player ever to win a seat at the final table in both the US and European legs of the World Poker Series tour.
This year’s $9.15 million first prize is the second highest in World Poker Series history, only beaten by the $12 million first prize earned by champion Jamie Gold in the 2006 World Series of Poker finals.

I was searching for a good bingo resource to keep myself updated and found a nice site - And I thought “why not share with my readers ? “;)
I am talking about OnlineBingo.net. OnlineBingo is an easy to use website, which provides all the latest information, news and reviews for members of the online bingo community.
You can find out all the current news about the online bingo industry from this website, including changes and improvements to online gaming software and support, and information about new and upcoming online bingo sites. You can also find out news from all your favorite online bingo sites, such as current deals and promotions, and also new games and special offer jackpots.
The site provides useful information to help you choose an online bingo site, including how to find trustworthy sites and how to avoid ‘bad’ free money offer deals that really are too good to be true. You can also find a top ten list of the best online UK bingo websites, and also which site has been recently voted as the UK’s favorite by the rest of the online bingo community.
You can also look at practical reviews of different online bingo websites by other members, and find some helpful tips and advice on how to play online bingo, such as joining in with the chat features to access more bonuses and free play games. There is also a section that features ‘fun stuff’, such as competitions and themed games, and also information about ‘Team Bingo’ games, which offer you the chance to take part in an online bingo team of up to four members, playing for loyalty points in various bingo websites.
OnlineBingo.net is a great resource for people who already enjoy playing online bingo, and is also ideal for those who are thinking of joining the online bingo community, but are not sure where to start.

When you play poker in online casinos or poker sites, you will invariably lose money, no matter how good you are. Therefore it can be a good idea to subscribe to a rakeback deal. This will mean when you do lose, you could get a percentage of that money back again. Many online casino and poker sites offer rakeback deals- for e.g. ThisIsTheNuts rakeback offers rakeback deals on many of the top poker rooms, so it is important to look around until you find one that suits your game play.
Typically poker sites/rooms make their money from the rake, which is a percentage extracted from of each pot played. Rakeback is a refund to the players, where they receive a percentage back from the rake they originally played to the poker/casino site. Most rakeback deals are around 25 to 40%, so for example if you subscribe to a 20% rakeback deal and you pay $1000 in rake in one month, you would receive $200 back again.
With most rakeback deals, poker sites will require that you sign up through an affiliate site, which means if you are already a member of the poker site, you may not be able to apply. Once you have signed up to an affiliate site, you will be linked back through to the relevant poker site, who will then pay a percentage of your rake to the affiliate site. Then according to the deal you signed up to, the affiliate site will then return a percentage of that money to you.
There are a good number of affiliate websites, but you must ensure that you are signing up with a reputable site that will actually pay you all your rakeback earnings. ThisIsTheNuts.com features a list of reputable rakeback affiliate services, and also the top 5 best rakeback deals that are currently offered, which should help you find a good deal that suits your game play. They also run exclusive rake races for their referrers and top players can win cash prizes worth $75k every month.
It is also important to note that most rakeback deals apply to cash only games and not tournaments, so if you are mainly a tournament player rakeback deals will probably not benefit you.
